I have these friends that I love to watch enjoy themselves. The little moments where they light up and think that nobody is watching. These are the times that I love these people most of all; their eyes sparkling with delight.
When I started on this series of graphics, I began with a photograph that I took in New Zealand of some friends of mine. They took each others hand without even turning an eye; as though they knew that it would be there waiting when they reached out.
I have thought about the concept of time a lot in my process too. This is something that I do not usually dwell on but it seemed to play side by side with my other thoughts as I began working with this image.
